Im Gegensatz zu z.B. Mystic, Saafir oder 2Pac starteten The Luniz ihre Karriere nicht als Feature auf einem digital underground Album. Yukmouth (aka Smoke-A-Lot) und Numskull (aka Drank-A-Lot) sind nämlich in erster Linie für ihre Anfangserfolge als Rap Duo Luniz bekannt, aber trotzdem unweigerlich ein Teil der underground Familie. |

Ein Beleg dafür ist natürlich, dass Numskull mit digital undergrounds Clee das Album "Good Laaawd That's a Lot of Drank" aufnahm. Neben gemeinsamen Live Shows mit du und Features auf "Future Rhythm" und "Fear of a Mixed Planet" arbeiteten Numskull und Yukmouth schon zu Beginn ihrer Karriere mit digital underground zusammen. So konnten die ersten beiden Luniz Alben "Operation Stackola" und "Lunitik Muzik" u.a. mit Productions von Shock G auftrumpfen. Neben den unten aufgelisteten, vollwertigen Luniz Alben erschien 1997 ebenfalls eine "Bootlegs & B-Sides" EP sowie 2005 ein Greatest Hits Album. |
